Maya Moore former player of The UConn Huskies (Now of the Minnesota Lynx), has done it again, made history. Maya has signed a deal with Micheal Jordan's brand, the first female ever to do so. As a freshman at UConn, Maya Moore was named the first player, male or female to be named "Big East Player of the Year." Maya's other achievements include: three Final Four appearances, three-time Wade Trophy recipient, and many other NCAA game records and streaks.
With Maya Moore being the No.1 overall pick in the WNBA draft and many accomplishments under her belt, it is no surprise that the Jordan Brand, a division of Nike Inc, wanted Moore apart of the family. Micheal Jordan believes Maya's hunger and determination off the court, as well as on, makes her a valuable addition to his brand.
